Information for Members: Rehearsals
 

• Rehearsals are held Tuesday evenings from 7 to 9:30 pm at Malaspina College.  Click here for the Fall 2008  Rehearsal Schedule.  Extra rehearsals are sometimes scheduled before performances and are announced by the Conductor, well before the concert dates, and will also be found in the updated Rehearsal Schedule.  

• Sectional practices are held before rehearsals on Tuesday evenings from 6 to 7 pm.  Locations are the same as last season.
  • Soprano: Building 340 (Arts & Humanities), Room 102
  • Alto: Building 355 (Arts & Sciences), Room 108
  • Tenor: Building 320 (Music), Room 204
  • Bass:  Building 355 (Arts & Sciences), Room 109

• Attendance is kept by the section representatives.  Routine/frequent absences will affect your participation in the choir.  Please call your section leader to let them know when you are going to be away or you are sick, etc.

• Missed performances & workshops: All performances and workshops should be considered mandatory - you should not sign up to sing in the choir if you do not plan to participate in all our events.  Exceptions may be made on an individual basis - please talk to your section representative.

• Rehearsal breaks: A 10-minute break will be called around 8:00  pm.

• Rehearsal etiquette: Members are reminded to refrain from calling out comments, and there is zero tolerance for talking during rehearsals (please save your talking for the break!).
