Calling All Malaspina Choir Alumni to Sing at our 50th Anniversary Celebration!


 If you’ve ever sung in the choir, we’d love you to join us in our gala concert,

Malaspina Choir: Half a Century of Harmony

on Saturday, May 2nd, 7:00 pm at St. Andrew’s United Church, 311 Fitzwilliam Street.

As part of our 50th concert celebration, we are inviting alumni to sing two pieces with the present choir members under the direction of Edward Norman, director of the choir from 1977-1983: My Lord, what a mornin’, the spiritual that opened Malaspina’s first concert in 1970, and Linden Lea, by Ralph Vaughan Williams.

You are invited to attend three 45-minute rehearsals on Tuesdays, April 14th, 21st and 28th and the actual concert (NO morning dress rehearsal) on May 2nd.

A fee of $25 will cover the rehearsals, the concert admission and the post-concert reception.
